I don't suppose you have to worry about condensation build-up in that do you!

This is something I've often fancied doing but have never wanted to go to the expense of a weatherproof network camera.

I think if you paint the inside matt black and installed a 5w bulb some how, that would keep the air warm enough to prevent condensation and stop reflection. Might need to offset the apperture on the front plate a little to stop the light reflecting on the clear perspex.... Use a 500mA 12v psu for the light.. I think with a little trial and error its very dooable.. :D

I make a easy design with thermical resistor ,if i have problem with no clear glass from humidity or frost ,to put inside to my weaterproof box ,I will put one resistor 47 ohm or 39 ohm 16 watts over to PCB.Maybe to put inside and one fan.

Finnaly i decided ,if i make a job ,to make good job :D

I put one fan 3.5 x 3,5 cm for the summer,it will bring fresh air inside to plastic box , one thermical resistor 47 ohm for to is the glass clear from the humidity and frost ,one double switch 1 - off - 2, the summer it will is the position 1 for fan ,and the winter at position 2 for thermical resistor .

I beleive tomorrow it is finish.

I decided for better to build a control box with 2 switch on-off, one for resistor and other one for fan .For to have the general control inside from my house.

Super picture there Dimitris. Thank you for the ideas. :)

Most webcams work in the infra red spectrum. An easy way to check your web cam covers that area is to point a tv remote control at it and see if you can see the flashes emited. Do you have any plans for an infra red floodlight? Would be great to do some night time nature watching.
