Well I couldn't disagree with you more, that charts tonight look really good (UKMO and GFS), for some moderate snowfall tomorrow night and even the BBC forecast was better tonight.

(the UKMO precip charts are available on Meteociel.

Even the triple point is further west, the prospects are looking very promising indeed,

Jackone I wouldnt bother all Bristleboy's posts are negative. I dont know how old he is but he comes across as young lad prone to sulking.

You must be the 100th person to have told him he has a good chance. Since 11am this morning he has posted 20 times and 17 (1 of the other post was to ask someones area)of those times he has repeated pretty much what you have answered above. How Bristol is going to miss out. I hope it does now just so that he can be happy in his misery.

Nothing here, winds have slightly eased off, temperature -0.3c falling off. Showers look a long way from here

Hey, this is a nice friendly forum.

ITV 1 main weather shows snow possible in most parts of England and Wales ... heaviest being central and eastern areas so where all in with decent shots (:

As i said earlier this afternoon, i'm really concerned about west country and s.wales snow chances now.

After seeing the BBC news weather 30 mins ago i just think we're going to miss out, even tomorrow eve. The trend for our areas has been a definite downgrade in last 12 hrs. sorry to be a prophet of doom and gloom!

It was only 48 hrs ago that it looked like we were going to profit the most from snow! :D

I also don't agree with this, did you pay attention to the band of snow crossing wales on monday night? With further wintry showers on tuesday?
