My first post is - alas - to say that I have nothing in south Chelmsford.

Unlucky! I can't be far from you at all and we had a good 40 minutes of snow. Brightening up now.

Galleywood. Had a few flakes about an hour ago and blue sky since. Starting to cloud now so maybe we'll see something soon.

Im not far from you and we have had two 15min showers so far this morning, it should'nt be too much longer before you start to see something. Its going to be an interesting week! Clouds are now building to my east again ready for the next lot!

"from looking at the forecasts i feel im gonna miss out again this time round always the way always just on the edge of it all doh.gif

im not gettin my hopes up anyway lol

for everyone that is lucky enough to see any, enjoy smile.gif"

Coxxy, I feel the same sense of foreboding - all those big blobs of white seem to head off northerly just before they hit us! Let's hope they're wrong...

Having said that, it looks like half an hour's drive to the north there would be proper sledging potential, though I'm never sure of the wisdom of driving to chase weather - specially if I say it's too bad to get to work...!

Ground temp too high would be my guess. The more it snows though the more the ground will cool so if it persists it will settle :D
