Just to echo the thoughts of my friend's from Ewell and Banstead, Sutton has been getting pasted since about 7.30pm.

We have about 5cm, with current temp -2.4c.

Radar says more coming!

its quite remarkable - has been snowing continously since 6pm. keeps getting more intense, then slackening off, but never stops completely . if it does the same all night we will have 4-6 inches by morning.

Light snow here in north hampshire. Roads and cars covered in a thin layer---with temp of -2.7c !!!

Didn't expect anything until gone midnight!

snowing here again paul, had a trip into southend about an hour ago, and i must admit the further into southend i got (london road) the less snow was lying, on my way back noticed more as you come in my direction, roads are clear southend but still lying in the middle of the roads here, nearly missed my driveway, as the snow outside is very icy, and my car span round, nearly pooped myself, anyway fresh new layer coming down as i type , lets hope you get loads more paul

Yep! Its very unusual indeed to get this amount of snow and be a favourable location and we normally miss out!
