wow, would you say theres a good inch in that??

i would say at least and that would be level snow, never mind whats blowing about!!

although it is moving pretty quick so we need more to follow it in.

Heaviest snow of the Easterly so far just begun here.. topping up the 5cm we already have on grass and 2-3cm's on pavements. Great intensification being shown on the Radar now, heavy snow showers look like they will be very frequent for this area over the next few hours, aswell as in the NE, Lincs, E Midlands, and of course the SE.

Blimey- local weather station reporting a wind chill of -18.1 °C. A little chilly out there then :)

It has stopped snowing now but there is a light covering on the ground from the last batch of snow to reach us.

I think, looking at the radar, that there will probably be a lull for a few hours for Northamptonshire. Can't see many showers clipping us for the foreseeable - surely therefore now would be a good time for me to squeeze some sleep in?

True that, very windy. Would be great if it slowed down over the top of our region and gave a dumping.

Heavy no in Nottingham, looks like the snow shield has kicked into action. Patchy cloud too. Seems like the snow that had come on our patio has disappeared as well. I'm sure we'll have more coming!

Yeah he is at his family's house. Although he lives/has lived in Louth previously.
