Been what maybe 4-5 years since Louth had white-out conditions. I remember taking a looong detour from my previous workplace *In Sprunehorpe just to check out the area

It won't let me type scun-thorpe O.o

Well it isn't snowing here in Louth at the moment - I guess Andrew is in Hull at the moment?

Yes very heavy now, looks like quite a large shower too, so should finally get something measurable from it

Showers packing into Lincs and the E Mids continuing to intensify and become more widespread... within the next hour I expect them to be as heavy as those currently falling over Yorkshire and the NE of England.

Heavy snow still falling here, we were at just short of 5cm's on the grass here at 8pm.. far too cold to go out there now but I would be shocked if we didn't have 10cm's by rush hour.

That trademark orange sky has made itself present here in Newark, heavy snow continuing to fall here and significant accumilations beginning to stack up. More snowfall looks likely throughout the night, perhaps a more intense period within the next few hours... and all this before the band moves up from the SE tommorow afternoon!

Snow just keeps getting heavier and heavier with every shower that passes through... fast approaching the highest snowfall amounts this area has seen in over 5 years!
