that was nice....massive 50p size flakes..a true blizzrad beats lasts night...we now have managed in my garden 1i inch..

still snowing but moderately...truly fantastic.....lasted for 20 mins

consistent moderate to heavy snow here non stop...put the video on to rec

yeah it was good.

Looking at the latest 14:15 radar & cloud cover it looks like the line of PPN to our east is breaking up and moving north and south/w

I wouldnt be suprised if this was the last we get for a while today.

Im hoping im wrong and the PPN gets heavier again, But its looking worrying atm

The snow here has now started to lie. A nice little covering after a heavy burst of snow for about 15 minutes. Still snowing too :) . Looking forward to tonight up here :)

Its just been light snow since the last big lot, I hope it heads the way.

Im still worried about this PPN, It looks like its breaking apart now and heading north. It just doesnt seem to be moving that far west at moment.

Cool :( fingers crossed for here :)

I dont think this is the main band yet for us. However the "main band" appears to be shifting further north and south and not penetrating far enough west at the moment.

I think the next 5 hours will be the ones to watch for us mate.

It will either just stay as light snow and vanish, Or get heavy and prolonged.

I dont think we will have a inbetween value.

Denise Nurse [on Sky News] has just mentioned more heavy snow due Thursday. although she didn't specify which areas. I presume she means the band of snow modelled to head SEwards Thursday night. First mention I've heard of this away from Netweather, but if the GFS is correct, substantial falls likely again for many areas. And so the winter continues to bite :D

Dogs,

The latest metox shows the band of ppn has picked up again and heading west, I just hope it builds some more and then heads our way.

Only 15 minutes ago it looked like we wouldnt see anymore.

Had an hour of heavy snow, almost blizzard conditions here, and now it's been snowing moderate to light for the last few hours now. :)

Went out with the dog in the local fields behind me ,there's some moderate level snow on grass and track's of about 4cms maybe 5cms in places building up nicely away from shelterd areas

I would think cleeve hill and parts of woodmancote have over 3-4 inches now anyone checked.

its pivoting...that means us here and West/South are going to have a treat tonight.the heavy band is heading this way for early evening

Lets hope so could get very interersting late evening/tonight,as much as 10cms forcasted tonight by mr angwin 4 inches aint bad is it. still snowing here it keeps flirting from light to moderate.
