Yorkshire Dales Snow Drifts

Hi Guys Here's a few from this afternoon, we did'nt get quite as much snow as further east in the pennines but not too bad.

Funnily enough I was in Malham on Sunday and I did the classic walk through Gordale Scar - covered in ice btw!

And to my surprise the higher hills, about over 550m at a guess, had a fair bit of snow on them. This is turning out to be an exceptional winter for the Dales; skiing easily possible at many times and we may now reach through to March without a complete melt by the looks of things

I drove up Chaple-le-dale and round by Ribblehead viaduct later on and the scenery was amazing.

Perhaps a Dales trip at the weekend, not sure yet but I seem to be going every week at the moment! The scenery is at its best in winter IMO as long as there is mountain snow.
