Whoops, I said it was 6.2c earlier. sorry didn't realise my station's PC had crashed. it's actually 2.1c. Really hope we get it, but not really much hope.

It seems as the front arrives amazingly the temps are dropping further anyway :rofl:

We've dropped from 0.9c to 0.7c in 10 mins so I'll 2nd that

Does that mean Tidworth will see some over night snow then?

If you don't get snow before midnight I'll be shocked.

Heavy snow again, big thick flakes the last 15mis. About 1/2 inch outside on the road at the moment.

When is this ment to turn to rain if it is???? :rofl:

What worries me about Wales is that it appears to be West of the main band of precip. That precip in France is heading straight North and the precip off the far South West of Cornwall is not heading towards Wales...

The main band is forecast to move NW and is due much later anyway, and East Wales were always forecast to get the main event,

South West England: Devon Dorset Somerset Heavy Snow 2011 Wed 4 0100 Thu 5 Heavy snow is likely to lead to temporary accumulations this evening before turning back to rain around midnight. Between 3 to 6 cm is expected in places.

The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.

if my son and his mates ask me again if we are going to get more snow i think i will go ;) there is only so many ways to say NO.. then ten min later he ask's me again :lol: ...

dry here now temps down to +1 DP 1... will never snow with a DP of 1..

yes exciting developments both the fronts seem to be merging now, this is gonna get interesting It's freezing out there at current snow is in the air :doh:

Looking better for me now looking at the Snow Risk, Prep Type hope so! Temperatures now a very cold -1.4 with cloud cover!
