As long as the temp stays 1c or below you should be fine for a few more hours of snow. Lets be honest what you have already had is a bonus, if I lived where you live I would not have expected any snow tonight, it looked really borderline for Oxford but just the fact that it is snowing heavily now down there is awesome, it may turn to rain in a few hours but it may not... Lets wait and see
