Looking carefully at the radar; some very very heavy precipitation just south east of the Reading area. There's a bright orange cell or two which equates to 30mm+ :cc_confused::D

<BR>Its still pretty reasonable between Rushden and Sharnbrook on the watershed, even those bits exposed to the sun. Irchester country park still looked like a winter wonderland this morning driving past. I am really gambling now on sleep if we don't get a dumping!!!! Can I scratch around for a drink... hmm.

Gambling and drinking you are on a slippery slope :cc_confused:

As long as the temp stays 1c or below you should be fine for a few more hours of snow. Lets be honest what you have already had is a bonus, if I lived where you live I would not have expected any snow tonight, it looked really borderline for Oxford but just the fact that it is snowing heavily now down there is awesome, it may turn to rain in a few hours but it may not... Lets wait and see :)

A let down??? In John Mcenroe fashion... YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS MAN! The heavier precip is on it's way to Brum, not far away so be patient.
