No thawing of the snow though on the fields where it`s been drifting last night/this morning, 4inches still on the lawn.

generally a cold and cloudy day but with signs that the sky is beginning to clear and temperature is starting to drop.

Mainly cloudy am, with at some stage overnight a slight sprinkling of snow. Temperature stayed above freezing last night.

Sunny spells this afternoon, rather cold, with a continued thaw. Pretty good snow covering remains except on south facing slopes where its green once more.

I went to Trawscoed this afternoon, hardly any snow there except for on the adjacent hill tops. I was informed that there was only a fall of "half an inch" there on Tuesday compared to my 4 inches or so!

Now currently -0.1C but plagued by cloud stopping the temperature from falling. The dewpoint is -3.2C so it shiuld really plummet if we get a clearance.
