Back in Essex, got a covering now with moderate snow coming down, not sure how much there is out there but its more then I expected, still front is decaying pretty quickly now so wouldn't expect it to last much longer now.

Snow depth probably about 2 to 2.5ins which has mixed in nicely with the snow from Monday. Pleased it has covered the trees again and we should have the coldest night temps of the winter this weekend with somewhere in the South East in a rural area getting down to -12c. will be even colder in the snow fields of the Midlands.

Cheers Paul,

Snowbob, for ppn charts go to GFS chart viewer on Datacentre page, then go to select chart type. Scroll down, you'll find charts for UK ppn and UK ppn type. These charts show ppn/ppn type for each GFS run throughout. I find they tend to exaggerate amounts but show trends of increasing/decreasing ppn quite well.

Regards,

Tom.

It is snowing lightly now. Quite surprised in the amount we have had here tonight. Temp is 0c

It's going to be treacherous out there when the temp falls even further.

Interesting FAX charts showing now for Tues/Weds. Better not show them on this thread though. Sure someone will have

posted them on Model thread.

Tom.

Yes stopped here in London SE20 and skies starting to break. Looking for temps to drop off nicely now.

All eyes on next week.

This regional threads were a great idea, had it just been one thread for all we would have needed a knew one every 10 minutes!

Yep a great idea! , shame two forums are so far up their own asses they won't try it out

It's just damp here anyway , didn't even get sleet :D
