YETI YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡OMG I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yahoo::(:(:(:(:D:D:D

The UKMO was the furthest S yesterday and this morning, now it wants the low much deeper and this brings the snow right up into Yorks, in fact snow would be concentrated over Yorks if that came off, with rain further S and generally drier further N.

It's not said and done, but it's a MAJOR improvement as now the ECM and UKMO both say N, with the GFS still to go, although even this is extremely close.

It's as if the weather is trying its best to rile me at the moment. Firstly there's a nice gap developing in the precipitation for Durham to slip through tonight. And then Monday nights precipitation is upgraded but still finishes just short of me.

Yeti.............I think I love you! Get in......lets hope the GFS 18Z shows a shift northward too. The 12Z unfortunately didn't, with the precipitation only making it as far as the midlands. Come on GFS 18Z, throw us guys in W Yorkshire a few crumbs!

Well it looks like you'll have to find another lamp post! Switch the extractor fan on!

A definite improvement wrt the channel low, a real backtrack there from the UKMO despite all the southerners in the model thread saying it had been right all along :D:D:D

I wouldn't get too excited just yet, anyway it's hardly any different from the GFS ppn chart for that time.

Looks like it could be marginal too, with T850's around -3/-4 and other things such as wet bulb temps looking marginal. I hope it comes off for you all :D

Feel free to get excited though, I would.

Still nothing falling here, but the streetlights are on, so it's time to stare at the orange light all night :p

Made a post not so long ago in the NW thread saying that I believe that the channel low is starting from a more northerly point than the charts were/are showing. Thats what I think looking at Noaa Sattalite imagery and loops.... Looking good.

Chances of it getting as far North as County Durham?

Yes interesting post SM79 and this may be the reason. Certainly it's a big upgrade for the N.

Quite a bit of no reaching CD, although if the ECM is right, you would be in for a pasting with Yorkshire seeing rain :yahoo:

Yes I agree Mark. Didn't Dave say Yesterday, that the GFS was handling these situations

better in the shorter timeframe? I'm not sure whether I trust the UKMO this evening.

It will be interesting to see where the NMM places the low, this evening.

Please feel free to correct me Dave :D
