not sure if it actually is 1c. the mercury thermometer says about 3c but the digital one on my suunto heart rate monitor watch says 1c. which one do i trust? just took a look outside again. i think it's rain, but i like to think i can see some tiny flakes in amongst the droplets.

Snow is not quite so heavy now, but still falling moderately in nature.

Hopefully it will keep its intensity and places further east of Haverhill will experience a nice dusting/covering.

Latest Obs suggest 1oC for Ipswich, so go for the monitor. Sleety rain here still, a tad heavier...Maybe being too near the coast will have an adverse effect, even 10miles inland. wouldn't be a first!

However places further west in Suffolk got rain and then snow, so not giving up yet!

We've got snow now. Hope it'll give a covering to wake up to... best of luck tomorrow everyone — like putting everything on black, I've rather gotten used to seeing white fields instead of brown

Not surprising with those bright echoes TEITS, if only the rest of Suffolks snow would fall here. Seasons, how long was it raining before it turned for you?

sleet here has been falling for over an hour and getting heavier but not sticking to anything and considering how wet it is . . . should it turn to snow i doubt it will stick

Im not suicidal either, just frustrated that Newmarket and Haverhill have it again, and we dont again. For now. ALtho many places reported rain/sleet at first.

ILS, Dw buddy I weren#t saying you were, lol I'm happy with our winter, typically Suffolk, or should I say Ipswich doesn't get the best snowfall. For extremes anywhere in Central Southern England gets the best, They get best storms, and high snowfalls.
