Current Conditions - 26th April (Maybe some excitement 2day)

The weather at the moment is fine and dry but there is developing cumulus and the clouds are looking very angry looks like today may give us some excitement!!! :lol:

Well i am disapointed i thought something good was going to happen all i got was heavy showers a real let down!! :cry: So net weather you say there was going to be t-storms and tornadoes etc can u tell wherebouts?

I travelled from Tyneside to Lancaster today, and can give updates for both locations:

Tyneside: Dry and sunny, and uneventful, until at least 3pm. Indications (from BBC Radar) suggest that some showers got over there during the evening.

Lancaster: Sunshine and Showers all day, with rainbows, and some very heavy rainstorms. No thunder though, although it looked like it could do so at times! :lol:

Today, like many other days, backs up my opinion that the North East is not a very good place to be for dramatic weather (except perhaps for large-scale winter snowfalls.)

Unfortunately today was a bit of a disappointment for thunder storms, although there were some in Ireland, aswell as in Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucester. We were expecting them to be a little more widespread, but on this occasion we were a little bit out, sorry!
