You'll have to blame Andy for all that shameless ramping last night I'm afraid.

:)

Don't make me go through threads again to find the post where I played it down when everyone was ramping up the BBC

Anyway sorry mods, this is still banter and some people actually want to have a proper chat in here lol.

MMMM? seems everyone elase here abouts is getting sleet or snow whereas here is very much still rain.

It's gonna have to change dramatically for us to get a pasting now.

Just been on BRMB that they have blanket closed schools in Brum again for tomorrow

BBC News are in Gloucestershire and it looks like it's snowing there.

Still rain here - anything slightly snow wise your way Andy? Just seem to have lots of drizzle here - can't really work out why my temperature is holding up at 2.1c and has been for the past hour.(Disregarding the 6.8c my weather station says it is)

Flash warning out for Northamptonshire. A night of lampost watching awaits

Temp is sinking away now, down to 1.2 °C.

"slushy falls of 2 to 5cms are probable." technical term there from the met office

Look forward to a dramatic change :)

That's kinda what it did here. We are in Brum, just (my address is Brum) and we're only 100m higher than many of the higher schools in Brum.

Here it's already "winter storm" conditions and won't be long before it descends a mere 100m to Brum...........

Oxford is not the place to be right now. After the earlier promise, it's turned to rain and looks like staying that way, at least for a while.

As I just said in the other thread we really need the intense rainfall which is just N of London to bring snowfall especially for the E Midlands.

The blues will only bring rain!

That frankly is a disgrace. The chances of lying snow at all are slim, let alone disruptive lying snow. There are going to be a lot of angry parents tomorrow.

Light snow here now after sleet for about an hour. Temp 1.3C and dropping quite sharply. Mind you the ground is sodden-lets hope the PPn beafs up so it will settle.
