Hmm, its blowing a fair bit out there now, but the snow is still coming down, got a covering on the ground (except in the puddles) on the table, and in the trees, can't comment on the lawn cos it was already covered.

I must say it does look gorgeous outside but i don't see any blizzard like conditions and although we have half an inch so far on top of existing snow it doesnt look like it will be a scratch on the foot that fell in the last southern event.

Are we going to see more intense ppn develop or is this it now?

Just been out and I have never seen so much water on the roads, then went up on the Quantock hills and had to turn back at Crowcombe due to the snow on the road on the A358 (around 1"), our village is rapidly becoming an island in the snow and floods.

:nonono: Hmmm, there seems to be a distinct lack of big ppn to the west now.

Still quite heavy here, but as i said in a post earlier, it's very poor quality snow...very slushy underfoot.

I'd say it was 9 kentimetres.

Sleety again here, where's this storm :nonono:

I thought the same, but apparently all the winds are on the back edge of the low, cos its blowing up nicely out there... hardly anything to write home about, but getting up to 25mph, gusting to 33mph. Which is a tad more than the 5mph its been all day.

Ah sorry missed it, shame, it does look like its coming to an end looking at the radar. :nonono:

Just watched the 22:57 NEWS 24 weather update and graphics indicate snow until 1 in the morn, but towards dawn, turning to rain.

Wind is beginning to pick up, now around 4cm level snow and 6-7 cm drifted against the back patio door
