    I have taken the joy of posting pictures of snow around Aberdeenshire over the past few days!!

    All the snow that you see in the images above has remained, there has also been some significant accumulations since these images were taken.

    Thats a whole lot of snow! Were the all taken around Deeside?

    Between Stonehaven and Aviemore. On my way home! The 4th picture of the flat laying snow is a completely frozen Loch Morlich...an amazing sight!!!

    I thought it was Loch Morlich, I just didnt want to look like a spanner.

    Amazing photos, a proper winter this year had by all.

    And just to add, some amazing skiing been had in Scotland this winter.

    Fantastic pictures -- that's proper snow! It was almost that deep up on the Cotswolds but only 3 inches in Cheltenham. Stunning scenery as well.

    Great pics there........where was that phone box pic taken?, it looks seriously snowy there :D

    The phone box picture was on the A95 between Grantown-On-Spey and the A9. The snow started to fall on the Friday and didn't stop until the saturady at 430pm. The end result was about 30" of snow.
