Was n't expecting it to be so mild today! High of 10.5c so far, the highest reading since December. Nice and sunny, spring is almost here! :unsure:

I would describe today so far as bright rather than dull but its not sunny however it does feel really mild out there and my snowman is getting smaller and smaller(although its still at a reasonable height). Any lying snow has melted now, and temps are around 8C going by local weather stations.

Been for a drive around Northamptonshire and astoundingly there is still plenty of snow cover especially around rural areas.

Here in Northampton town though there is very little left now, patchy snow cover still remains with a maximum temp of 7C.

Brings the number of consecutive days with snow cover up to 14 now if my maths are correct
