Despite the gloom it is nice to not be freezing cold in the morning (both inside & out!) and to leave the hat in my coat pocket too. There's also a nice damp, muggy smell of undergrowth around - for the first time in many months! 6.6c at the mo.

It has been mostly cloudy overnight, so not as cold as recently. At observation, overcast with a few spots of light rain. A mainly overcast day followed with slight drizzle at times, though there were one or two bright spells also. Milder than recently with a maximum temperature of 8.6c. Top wind speed, 18mph, WSW.

Nice day here in London, after leaving -3 degrees behind in Limoges I've arrived in temps knocking on the door of 12 degrees in Central London. The sun is still fighting to burn off the cloud but it is putting on the odd appearance.
