I must be in one of the warmest areas in the UK, 12C this afternoon :lol: ... nothing special for mid Feb if you are in TM air but the airmass isn't that warm so that is quite impressive for so early in the year, the effects of a warming sun.

A similar day to yesterday both in terms of temperature and weather. A dry day with varied, often mid and high level cloud allowing some hazy sunshine particularly towards the end of the day, just like yesterday.

Another very pleasant day more akin to what I would expect late March to deliver, hence it has felt like we have been plunged from the depths of winter into early spring in one quick step, however, I don't foresee many more 'pleasant' feeling days in the days ahead, generally the mild will be accompanied by much more unsettled conditions and then a return to much colder weather by the end of the month.

Certainly a contrast from the cold of the past couple of weeks. Dry and mild with hazy sunshine - maximum 12.3, the highest temperature of the year so far, after an overnight minimum of 3.0. Wind light to moderate W.

Mildish day here although it was a mostly cloudy day so never really felt like spring in all truthness.

Hoping for it to be more sunny tomorrow, might feel more spring like.
