Amazing Sunset

I took these pics a few minutes ago outside, recentley we have had some good sunsets, but this sunset is the best by far !!

i would post the rest but resizing is too much of a hastle

It was an amazing sunset wasn't it... My camera was out of batteries and I got only a couple of shots off before it switched off. They were not focused right or tripodded either... so I missed a good opportunity for a cracking photo or two.

The pic from the original poster is fantastic. It looks like a mountain poking out of low cloud (if you look at the pic upside down!)

The rest of the pics are equally interesting. Very striking colours. Really good snaps guys. Thanks for sharing.

Those pictures really are great. I know this wasn't taken today (I wish!!!) but though you all would like to see it. It was the sunset and not the snow that got my attention

Nice photos, I was hoping people would get pics of it.

It was very impressive up here too, but I was out with just my and the pics didn't come out too well.

Hope we get more of that soon.

Great shot there 10123, the sunset looks quite moody with the darker sides of the clouds. Great photos by everyone else too, that orange is really vivid Gorky, and hasn't come about bad for a quick snap. I'm sure there will be many more good sunset photo oppurtunities, much more guaranteed than lightning or snow (unless you venture elsewhere which you quite sensibly do :lol: )!

I was suprised by how they turned out, admitadley it didnt look quite so dramatic, for some reason that shot made the colours and contrasts really stand out, pretty good for a phone camera (glad i bought ma phone afterall)
