We had surpisingly a lot of convective weather here, was nice though first time I've seen convection since at least October.

Just had a beautiful evening here, good spells of late sunshine, light breeze and not too cold. Nipped down to Cleethorpes for an icecream the place was really busy lots of people enjoying what are becoming much lighter evenings.

Well after the first bit of proper rain it seems in ages, the morning did eventually brighten up and although hardly blue skies and wall to wall sunshine, this afternoon at least had some brightness to it, unlike most days in the past 2 weeks. Looking forward to some much clearer air this week and less of the low hugging cloud, the skies have been uniformly grey both day and night, it really has made things feel very dull indeed.
