mine was recorded at 14.30 today an impressive 16.3 after an overnight low of 3.8.

I expect next weekend will remind us how quickly winter can return if it wants to.

Today's maximum according to my shaded but non-standard thermometer (usual disclaimers apply etc.) was a balmy 17.8 here. We are in a town centre location, and daytime maxima are usually similar to readings in central London although nights are often colder.

So far, 11.2c on the 11th.

Only 4 Marches in the last 45 years have failed to reach 10c; 1966, 1975, 1979 and 1996 so no addition to that number this year.

8 Marches in the last 45 years have reached 15c, the last being in 2005.

Not quite as impressive as some stations around the country, perhaps because of the hazy nature of the sun but anyway - 14.0C here this afternoon after a low of 2.5C last night, fairly pleasant nonetheless.
