car temperature reads 18c, it's around 15.3 atm though. Feels very warm in that sun, around 22c.

I'm going to go for 35C in July to be the warmest temperature recorded this year, while i expect May and June to be dire, i am expecting a warm July and August.

In the sun, or actual temperature? That seems awful warm for an air temperature!

Officialy registred 20C somewhere in the UK for the last two days, and if the models are correct, we could be pushing it again next weekend.

Recorded 20.7 on Wednesday at home in Reading, the highest reading here so far this year. Benson, 12 miles up the road, recorded 21.1 and according to the BBC web site the highest recorded that day was East Malling at 22.1.

As for the highest temperature this summer - my wild guess is 34.1 at Gravesend on August 2.

That will really make it feel like New Delhi then :) ,but your probably right it does seem to out bake other places a lot,but it all depends on the wind on the hottest day,a slight wind of the estuary puts a donk on Gravesend's temp and somewhere further inland will more than likely clinch it .

So far in the Leeds suburbs (60m) the highest temprature recorded so far is 20.8c, the second highest is on the 1st April 18.c then 17.c has been recorded on numerous occasions.

So far at my location (200m) the highest temprature recorded is 20.3c

These weather stations are extremely accurate and always match other people personal thermometer.
