Cloud and a moderate south easterly breeze has helped keep the temperature up and prevent a frost overnight. At observation, still rather cloudy here, though some clear skies to the north-west of the area. The morning soon turned sunny and the temperature climbed to a maximum of 12.9c in the afternoon, feeling warm and pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum wind gust 22mph, SSE.

amazing how quickly the weather can change since my last report at 09:00hrs, was calm at observation, still sunny, but now we have a force 4 westerly wind and the temprature is 7.8c, rising at a rate of 4.7c an hour.

A really sharp frost last night, went down to -3.3C here, but a gloriously sunny morning and temperatures are rising quickly - already up to +6.1C. The frost was all gone by 8am as well - shows how the sun is really getting some strength now.

Quite a memorable week here! A long, long time since its been so fantastic so early on!

Notable though that the overall mean of all readings is so low. Cold nights, last night the lowest at -3c.

Last night saw the lowest minimum since 12 February of -2.4c which came after a week with consistent maximums of 14c plus!

So a sharp frost to start the day and, for the 8th day in a row , unbroken sunshine. No wind and the temperature is rising at 10.1c with humidity at 59%.

Minimum temperatures have been almost consistently above average here this week and this morning was no different.

I was looking forward to clear frosty mornings and sunny days, but in reality it hasnt happened. Rather its been mostly cloudy or overcast, with occasional sunny periods. At least today is clear though!

That's our lot over here. Fine and sunny until 1430, if cooler than of late (Max only 11.5c). Since 1500 it has been dull and misty with a keen north wind, cooled down a lot to below 8c!

A fine and sunny day up until 30 minutes ago when a sudden wall of overcast cloud came down from the north west and now looks set to stay.

Nice earlier at 13c and sunny but a chilly 10.8c now with gusty winds.
