    So after watching "Storm Chaser" and seeing what type of Modern Technology we all use, have you ever thought how the guys in the 1980's used to Chase, No Mobile Phones, No Radar on the Move, No GPS!! Just Maps and finding Libraries and Telephone Booths in order to find Storms, the Youtube Clips I am about to post are a 1980's look at Storm Chasers (Howie Bluestein in Particular) in a kind of National Geographic Style Documentary of the Day, One thing to notice how many Storm Chasers are out Chasing, hardly anybody did it then, hats off to these guys!

    Just aswell it was'nt as popular back then as it is now coz i'm sure a few 'modern' chasers could possibly have come to a very sorry end..!! Brave chasers back then, going on instinct and gut feeling...... indeed 'hats off' to em all..!!

    I think its fast becoming very popular as a hobby

    I would think it was alot more risky in them days due to the lack of technology at there disposal...

    I think there hasn't been a Storm Spotter killed for many years now probably due to all the warnings and communications we have...
