A bright but much colder start this morning with a widespread frost, minimum temperature –2.5c, minimum on the grass –5.4c. At observation, pleasant and sunny, ground frost thawing. The day continued clear with almost unbroken sunshine from a very clear and deep blue sky, and with only a light wind it was very pleasant indeed. Maximum temperature 9.9c, maximum wind gust 14mph WSW.
