Dry and cloudy with minimal wind. Pretty much overcast throughout, with only a couple of brief sightings of the sun. Despite the lack of sun it's feeling mild - currently 13.1, maximum 16.3, last night's minimum 7.4.

A dry day with sunny spells and rather warm this afternoon with the temperature near 16c.

Spotted a couple of newly awakened Brimstone butterflies, tried to get a picture but couldn’t get close enough.

The sunshine didn't last- it clouded over and the temp dropped - now 12.3c but feeling very humid. But after the warmest day of the year (16.5c) and sunshine till almost 3pm I can't grumble.

The air has a summer feel to it - with plenty of insects around and you can smell outdoor things again (absent in the winter). I like the feel of it (tropical) but be better with less cloud around!

Think it will improve as the week goes on for more of the UK.

What a load of Cr*p, two dull overcast days now at least the cold weekend gave some beautiful sunny skies especially sunday which was the most beautiful spring day in weeks with crisp dew points and a lovely feel to the weather, the weather feels and looks like right now -_- , roll on the next polar incursion then we might see some decent sunny days with end to end of blue sky like on sunday.

Nothing is worse than anticyclonic gloom for weather fans.

Sunshine should be more widespread tomorrow so even the gloomy West Midlands may see some sunshine!.

Sunshine levels been pretty good here today, some quite lengthy sunny spells today and feeling very warm in light winds, all in all a very pleasant spring like day today.

Does anyone think Coventry had more than 2.6 hours of sun today?

Thats what was needed to break the record for the sunniest March in the City since records began way back in 1894!

Possibly Coventry's sunniest ever March

A cloudy morning, then the sun broke through late lunchtime giving a very sunny and pleasant afternoon albeit rather hazy. However, it didn't feel as warm as two weeks ago. Tomorrow looks similiar, but I think Thursday and Friday will bring some very pleasant conditions indeed, perhaps we will record our warmest day of the year so far on Friday.

I don't believe 18 degrees will be bettered though anywhere in Britain over the next few days it will probably be equalled though.
