    I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!

    It's snowing and settling in Exeter! There is already 2cm on the ground. After a remarkable winter for snow in the Exeter area comes a very unexpected snowfall- in the middle of an anticyclonic spell as well!

    A stunning start here with clear blue skies and feeling warm after a min of 9.8c it's now 10.2c. Looks like our cloud clear just before dawn - how unusual!

    Made for a lovely ride to work with birds singing & trees in blossom. Traffic is light too with the students not around.

    Murk appears to be clearing westwards so hopefully they'll be none to replace it!

    Clear periods overnight allowed the temperature to fall to 2.9c and –0.9c on the grass so a touch of ground frost detected. At observation, sunny with just a light SW wind and a rapidly rising temperature. The day continued bright and pleasant with sunny spells and the afternoon became rather warm with the temperature near 16c. Maximum wind gust 13mph, WSW.

    Overcast with stratocumulus and high pollution levels, but it does look like the sun is at least trying to make an appearance, unlike yesterday.

    There were some weird effects last evening with the moon shining through the cloud cover.

    Cloudy coolish start to the day, overnight low of 2.8C, currently 11.3C and climbing. If the sun can just break through the cloud then we could be looking at a very warm day, possibly my warmest of the year so far.
