Another depressingly dull, overcast morning started off with light rain now getting heavier, very dark too lights are on again, never known such dull weather in mid April its more like Mid November. B)

Yeah it really is very dull and especially miserable here. Very low light levels, raining on & off all day and not warm at 10.7c. You can even see your breath condensing!

Surely it's got to improve again soon. Too much cloud this month.

 I think I must be in one of the best places today : Westbury is sitting approximately 30 miles South of the main front and also 15 miles South of heavy showers developing in the last hour or so.

As a result I have a great view of TCu, developing CBs and a wall of Cirrus stretching from the Eastern horizon through the North and then NW while enjoying warm sunny periods which have seen the temperature reach 17.0c so far - at present it's 14.3c as the sun has been in a large Cumulus for a while, which may develop into something itself of course.

Humidity is 71%, the wind is gentle and variable.

It feels more like mid-winter here despite the temperature being 10c at present-the wind just about goes through you. Still we should at least see the sun in the next few days but no warmth until Sunday.
