After a little overnight rain, the morning up to observation has been windy and damp with a good deal of low cloud and mist. The day continued overcast and dull, also with a period of rain during the afternoon, though the NE wind reduced light to moderate. Cooler than of late, the maximum temperature 10.4c. Finally some persistent rain here, nothing heavy but it's been going lightly/moderately for about 4 hours with 2.5mm in the gauge. Fairly bright at times though and a gentle E breeze. The notable feature is the temperature which is much cooler than at this time all week at 9.7c, humidity is 83%.
