Completely unrelated but my friends kinda furious, her Fall Out Boy show (which is at an open air arena) in TX has just been cancelled due one of the tornado warning. Apparently the whole things in chaos and the security have no idea what to do, in her own words; "screw this crap I'm getting in my car and getting the hell out of the warning area."

Certainly some moderate CAPE about ATM. SPC reports 2 tornadoes KS and another in TX. Almost no vertical shear over KS so these could well be Convergence Zone type tornadoes developed along boundaries. Some moderate low level shear SE TX could spout another couple maybe. Though the upper shear doesn't look to overrun the storms at that location so we could have some limitation for large hail and further tornadoes maybe. Still worth monitoring though :good:

    Yep

This is outside of the Original Slight Box this morning, 1st signs of something happening was an MD Issued about 3 hours ago, Look to be Photogenic Tornado Warned Storms moving at 5-10mph with great Radar Signatures, the one NE Of Dodge is the best.

Anyone find any Live Streams - There might be some Local Chasers out with this Storm

    • August thunderstorms bring the risk of flooding and disruption

Any rain should be welcome looking at the parched ground but intense downpours aren't enough. Thunderstorms bring the risk of flash flooding as the rain hits the hard, dry ground. Read the full update here
