Presently 10.2c, last night's min was 8.5c at 5.50am. Currently sunny, again light haze, but nothing to block out any sun.

Interesting few days ahead, the BBC are still saying that London will be 20c for the next few days, everywhere else it seems (including the MetOffice at time of posting) are saying tomorrow might only reach 16c then again BBC/MetOffice have Friday to be 20c where-as everywhere else at present has it at 15-16c ...

Be interesting to see what I manage to record.

Yesterday 21st April 2009

Another chilly start, just missing a ground frost, minimum on the grass 0.1c. Soon warming up in the sunshine though, at observation the temperature is already 11.4c and rising rapidly. The morning and early afternoon saw good sunny periods, though there was a good deal more cloud around from mid afternoon onwards. Still rather warm for April, maximum temperature 18.0c. Maximum wind gust 21mph, WNW.

14.9'c in Buxton at 11:57am however looking at the Visible Satellite there seems to be a cloud-shield coming in from Wales which will drop the temperature by 5'c should it make it this far inland. There was Overcast Mist from the irish Sea forced me to bed at 3am last night as I was watching the Lyrid Meteor Shower, Unfortunately I wasnt up in the early hours to get a morning temperature reading at home, but Buxton recorded a minima of 2.3'c overnight.
