Quite cool here since mid afternoon, quite a strong wing from the east limited temperatures to around 14 degrees. Woke up the clear blue skies, but thick cloud arrived by early evening. Should get first rain here since first week of April tomorrow.

What a stunning day today! So much better than I expected with hours of unbroken sunshine both today and yesterday. We maxed out at 18c but it felt summerlike, even more so than last weeks 'settled' warm spell. We have had 9 days in a row with 4 or more hours of unbroken sunshine (i.e no clouds whatsoever during that period)
