A clear and chilly start with a ground frost. Sunny up to observation with a few cumulus clouds beginning to bubble up. Good sunny spells continued through the morning and in to the afternoon. The late afternoon saw much more cloud around, but stayed dry. Maximum temperature 17.0c. Top wind speed, 20mph SSE.

Dull with persistent moderate rain since before 06.00, there was a very heavy burst around 09.00 which appears on the radar to be a squall line embedded in the front. The temperature is 8.5c, maximum so far was 8.6c, the wind is a gentle WNW'ly and humidity is 83%.
