Raining since 6am and hasnt stopped till 3:30pm, so 9hours 30mins of continous moderate-heavy rain :lol: yuck!! Temps have been significantley hampered, top temp 7.6c . Fells like a typical Januray day.

Some sunshine breaking through now after a showery few hours, there was a dry 90ish minutes between midday-13.30 but during a downpour a few hours ago the temperature fell to 6.1c before recovering steadily to 11.3c now (today's max so far) while humidity sits at 77%.

Afternoon all, I've not posted for a couple of months. Lost my appetite a bit after the frenzy that was Feb's snowfall !!!

Thoroughly miserable up to mid afternoon with persistent moderate to heavy rain. Occasional brighter spells after that with heavy showers including some thunder around 4.30. Currently in a bright spell - temperature now 9.1, maximum 11.0, last night's minimum 6.1.

Yesterday: partly cloudy and pleasant after a rather cold start - maximum 18.3, minimum 4.4.

What a turn around, since 5pm the cloud cover has now left, now sunny and only a few clouds around, all the water on the ground has evaporated leaving it dry, you wouldnt have guessed it was chucking it down a few hours ago. Temp now the highest all day, at 11.3c and risng at 0.3c every 5minutes :wub: :lol:

A wet first half of the morning,followed by a brief dryer interlude,then heavy downpours since then 4 hail showers 1 gave a slight dusting,Slow moving TC/CB`s of which the top is coming in from the SE,showers are coming from the NW and wind is coming in from the east,must be in the middle of a LP, a fairly cold one at that but impressive clouds,means it`s goes as the best day of the month for interesting weather.

2nd coolest day of the month at 10.1c when it was sunny.

Heavy showers continuing here now at 5.5c and it`s already the wettest day since way back to last July 29th and it doesn`t get much wetter than that night ,although last early september 2 days in a row was also very wet.

A wet and breezy morning with some occasional torrential bursts mid morning gave way to a much brighter and cleaner afternoon with plenty of cbs around, especially inland but no further showers ensued. Woke up to a dose of moderate rain, feels a long time ago that I woke up to such a morning.. been used to the sunny mornings..

The rain held sway until ablut lunchtime, then it brightened quite quickly to leave a dry and sunny afternoon with temps climbing close to 13 degrees. This evening once again was gloriously clear, lost count of the number of clear evenings this month..

Bright sunny morning until 9.30am then quickly clouded over. However, very little rain with just 2mm recorded all day. Bright periods between the rain, which was always blowing in the wind but never really wetted the ground. Top temp at 2pm at 14.3c in a brighter period so milder than expected.

Hi, 13c in April is hardly very cool! The average in the SE for late April is around 15c so I would say 'rather cool' at worst
