I think it'll depend on:-

One where the valve is located and secondly who's doing the blowing!!!

I'm glad something popped up along that boundary. I called it a night about 1pm and whilst the stream did show towers going up, I was worried they wouldn't break through. I'm happy with my forecast from earlier that day and predicted the ESE motion along that OFB so I can't wait to get out there and try my forecasts out for myself  I was surprised to see how few chaser icons were on Spotter Network in this area... Only 3 or 4 when I called it a night with many people busting big time :D Shame it didn't produce but given the environment, it got about as close as one would expect. Good luck with todays chase anyways!

Great photos and video. Some great anvil crawlers.

Love the effort in getting the live streaming to us, it is much appreciated. I have a feeling that tonights the night for the first tube.

John has uploaded a video showing the hail and a funnel cloud from yesterday:

Thanks Paul. I was there and I enjoyed watching it.

Well I have to take my hat off to Paul yesterday (or my cap) we were positioned within a short distance of the first cell and really the only good cell in Oklahoma. The rest was down to patience we sat for hours and hours but it paid off. That is storm chasing. The other main asset yesterday was years of experience from watching storms develop. Pat was watching early development within that cell. Paul was also keen to go for it but Baron said "I can't see anything" We were watching that cell 10 mins before Baron showed anything. Once the cell went up it was explosive and pretty as a picture, which I will post later when I can see what I am doing. It is dark it the room and John is asleep I dont want to disturb him, he worked hard yesterday poor chap.

Congratulations guys getting on the only cell. I watched the GPS maps as all of the other chasers raced towards you :)

Not bad pictures either :)

Thanks for the video clip - the hail sounded bigger than it was - did it stay pea sized or get bigger, sounded bigger but could be my rubbish speakers

We sat around and waited until we saw the cells developing to our south west.

We then set off for an intercept.

Thanks for the post paul and thank John for me! Good video there, can you imagine if that hail came down a lot harder ;) ..

Keep up the good work

LOL. Weve got three dents in the roof of the vehicle after what I think was that. Only notice them yesterday when looking down on it from the 2nd floor of the big texan. We took some baseballs me thinks. Will take a photo and post up.
