A breezy day,had some early rain,then odd patchy bits since it`s since been dry/cloudy though and there was blue skies to the west,10.4c max and feeling cold,there was milder days in february.

Is it me or is the rain heading much further S/SE than expected?

A dry day so far here with lightbulb sun shining at times through the Cirrus but a lot of Cumulus too, a brisk WNW wind and temperature of 12.3c with humidity at 64%.

Had a few spits and spots here,but the clouds had a surreal pattern to them,these were taken at say six thirty-ish,ive run the gamma setting down a tad cause of the ambient brightness,so they seem more menacing than they actually was,but structurally pretty to watch

After a very good Saturday, and reasonable Sunday, today however was just downright rotten to the core really, I can't think of a decent word to describe today, a real shame for the holidaymakers who faced a miserable wet day with no views whatsoever of the hills. This afternoon cloud cover was as low as 150m..

I hope we don't get many more such days this month.., mmm..., whats that a blue blob permanently not going anywhere over the lake district it seems this week, oh well.. tomorrow looks worse still...

Hope the Whitsunday Bank Holiday Monday is no way near as bad today. The worst aspect however was not the rain, which was bad enough but the cold blustery west wind which never relented making it feel like a late October day, it was also a very dark gloomy feeling day.
