Heavy rain during the early hours of this morning has produced over 20mm, making it the wettest 24 hours so far this year. It has been overcast with further light, to moderate rain up to observation. Moderate bursts of rain continued through the morning. Brighter conditions developed during the afternoon, but was quickly followed by heavy showers, accompanied by thunder. Another rather cold night down to 4.9c and a day of strong S/SW winds and a few squally showers but nothing on the scale of heavy to yesterday,temps drop to 9.8c in the showers,13.7c max a below average day and with the wind feels on the cold side especially when the cloud showers come.
