I have recorded 24.9c today, it is enclosed in a box behind a lilac bush.

The garden is South facing, and there is little direct shade to be had in the garden.

what an absolutely superb day-walked around Hathersage in clear blue skies, a very slight breeze, good visibility, what more could one ask-just under 23C here today and probably again tomorrow before the thundery outbreaks get here-fingers crossed for the rain keeping away until late pm so I can get my summer bedding sorted.
