So much for 27c in London today, guess it might be possible, but its cloudy and raining already. Looking at the radar this should clear but surely any rain now could dampen the chances of high temps today. No temps from me today, my sensor has stopped working! I thought it was playing up a bit.

Yet another very poor forecast from the BBC and NetWeather for this part of the country. BBC was taking of 'becoming hazy as the day went along'. NetWeather forecast for Brighton has a 0% chance of rain before 15:00.

It has just stopped raining here having poured for about 3 hours from 07:30 and it's still completely overcast, windy and just 13.8c !

Both the BBC and metcheck are predicting a warm day here (23 and 25 max respectively; the BBC showed 26 earlier but has revised it down and metcheck claims 24 deg C at 10.00), but so far the real weather's having none of it. Cloudy, with a few spots of rain about an hour ago, currently 15.7.

Still cloudy, bit of a breeze outside, fairly humid inside. Currently 18.1c but very cloudy, the rain has gone now so at least its dry now, but I think the 27c the BBC where claiming that parts of London might reach yesterday won't happen. I notice they now have 24c over London today, might be struggling to reach that at this rate, been a good 18c here for an hour or so.

Lovely day here so far and a more humid feel than yesterday, so despite it not being wall to wall sunshine it feels warmer. The sunshine is rather hazy and I am pretty certain I have officially exceeded 20C for the first time this year due to nearby weather stations also reaching 20C. My unofficial reading is 22.6C. Manchester Airport has finally got to 20C today.

A wonderful warm morning here in the lake district, we have nearly reached 20 degrees already! quite notable for this part of the workd for late May, whether we see 21 degrees will I feel depend on cloud cover, the skies are turning hazy and we could be about to see a thin blanket of cloud develop, which could level the temperature out - will wait and see..

A word on yesterday - lovely perfect weather for walking, doesn't get much better, by July/August similar synoptics would just give hazy skies and a more humid feel but in Late May into June, under such synoptics I think you can't top it.

It's been a lovely morning here, and the 1st 'official' 20C of the year. I say official because I recorded 20C yesterday and Saturday- but today I've finally got confirmation from nearby weather stations. Manchester Airport has reached 20C for the first time this year. It has become a lot more humid today and the sunshine is now rather hazy but it's still a great summery day.
