The hottest June on record occured in 1846 with a CET of 18.2C, 4.1C above todays average.

Well, I don't really have a clue. But for two rather ridiculous reasons, I am going to go for a slightly above average

14.4oC

The first reason is that 14.4 seems to be oddly favoured by the climate of CET-land: a curious statistical quirk, but in the last 100 years 14.4 has been the recorded figure for June no less than 13 times, as against just 4 times each for 14.3 and 14.5. How strange is that? I could probably work out if it is statistically significant or not, but life's too short.

The second reason is that nobody else has chosen it yet!

(I actually suspect that it'll be more like 15.0, but what the hey)

Ossie

I think its going to be a fairly warm June.

Pleasantly warm possibly very warm during the first week and into the second, but turning cooler and wetter from the middle of the second week onwards for the middle part of the month. But then turning much warmer and drier as we go into the last part of June (3rd week or so) with the possiblitly of a Heatwave during the last week.

I think June will be very Thundery at times this year and quite thundery overall.

So my lucky punt for June will be 15.8c Please
