ive just bought a fuji finepix s1500 is this ok for taking weather pics like lightening etc?

What are the specifications ?? Can it shoot in Manual mode, eg does it have F Stops and ISO Settings

its 10 mega pix and does do manual settings iso 64 to 1600 and f 2.8 to 6.4 in wide and 5.0 to 8.0 in telephoto will it be ok for lightening pics?

Yep should be fine

This picture from this year was shot on a 6 Second Exposure on F6 And ISO Of 200
