I may have heard Thunder as well. main rain band fizzling as it reaches here so far 13.6mm but 9mm of that came in a shower. As John says some impress cloud formations more impressive than the rain here though after the first shower.

In contrast to other parts of the country, we have still had no measurable rain yet this month! The rainband seemed to have reached the South Bank of the Humber and just stopped. We've not had any precipitation for 10 days now, the grass is even going yellow.

Its been mostly cloudy with occasional bright spells this morning. Max Temp was 14.6C, so cool but nothing out of the ordinary. The minimum was 9.9C last night so pretty average.

Still raining here although only lightly now. The max' temp' of 10.2c occurred just before the rain set in at 0945 g.m.t, since then it's been between 6.7 and 8.0c all day. Thunder was heard to the south at 0750, 0900 and 0910 g.m.t and again, closer to home at 1150 g.m.t. The rain was only briefly very heavy but persistently moderate-heavy.

yes reef, really odd. i was playing cricket at Brigg and it was torrential rain. 8 miles north at Barton - not a drop of rain today. Only 7mm on Friday night for us this weekend.
