Very pleasant start to the day, plenty of sunshine with just a light breeze, and the temperature is already 17.7C.

After a corker of a day yesterday we had a lovely evening sitting out watching the spectacular sunset - all without feeling cold - a very rare treat indeed!

A very warm night which was lovely to cycle in although our bedroom was pretty warm until the open skylights sorted that one out. Then came 4:30am and daylight making it a little more tricky to keep sleeping but managed somehow - and I've noticed not needing as much sleep at this time of year often waking up 2 or so hours earlier than normal & feeling fine.

Min last night was 17.2c - the warmest yet.

Now 18.5c with lots of sunshine & light winds. Another super summer day ahead by the looks of it.

The perfect summers weekend continues with a few clouds around but mostly sunshine. Now 19.6c with a max of about 22c expected. A nice warm breeze to go with the 'thicker' warm feeling air makes this pretty much my favourite kind of summer conditions. Not searing hot nor overly humid but humid enough that after the sun sets it remains warm and you get mins like 17c (rather than the 11c we got two weeks ago). A range between 17-18c (night) to 23-25c (day) is perfection in a bag!
