Cloudy start, currently 17c, they are saying the cloud should clear today. Looks more showery around here from tomorrow onwards and across the weekend.

Low cloud (as expected) with a fresh wind and light drizzle. Still at least it's mild at 17.3c after a low of 17c.

Judging by satellite image it's gonna take some time to burn off in this area with more eastern areas, nearer to the sea actually having less cloud:

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/satpics/latest_uk_vis.html

Still, two fronts to burn on I guess but I've seen this pattern before where the midlands is last to join in on the sunshine being still covered in the last blob of cloud until lunchtime.

Thick fog and continuous light drizzle. Temp' is 10.6c after a min' of 10.0c.

Wind is 15 mph NE.

Vis', 150 yds.

As Bottesford said above, this could take some time to shift. Earlier this morning ( 0400 g.m.t ) the cloud base was around 380m but in the last hour or so it's come down to 250m.

Overcast and breezy (14C), you would think by late June easterlies would'nt give us this kind of murk obviously not, i see nothing but a slow breakdown to atlantic conditions next week with pressure high to our north, we want HP sitting over france not to our north.

Sun is already breaking through so perhaps this murk won't last as long as first though. Seems to be burning back quickly from the east.

Now 17.7c

Sunny again here on the Hampshire coast, though I can see some cloud out towards the west & parts of Dorset have had some showers this morning. Lighter winds than yesterday & still from the NE so we should see decent temperatures down here again today. My maximum temp yesterday was 27C (81F) & nearest "official" Met Office station (Lee-On-Solent) got to 26C (79F).

Last night's minimum: 15C (59F)

Currently: 21C (70F)

Warm with hazy sunshine, Altocumulus & Cirrus now after a cloudy/misty start which also produced some (surprise) sharp bursts of rain between 09.00-10.00! Current temperature is 18.8c, humidity 68% and there's an ESE breeze.

Cloud has slowly broken up, it's rather hazy now. Currently 23.5c, 61% humidity. If it wasn't for the breeze it would be rather sticky here today.

Feeling quite cool here with a fairly strong wind off the sea. We have had a bit of hazy sunshine, but nothing wall to wall. Temperature is hovering around 17 at the moment.

Low cloud has broken up - now hazy sunshine & feeling humid again. Now 20c - can see 24c at least today. Another great summers day despite the dismal start.

Less of an annoying wind today too!

Sun really struggling to burn through, looked OK at 11-30, now dullish again, wind is a bit pesky too. :( Temp was 18.3°C 30 mins ago, might reach 20+ if the cloud burns off

Heated up rapidly here in sheltered SW London (near heathrow) to 26C, wouldn't be all that surprised if we make it to 30C over the next week. Has been cloudy but the sun's coming out now as it's burnt off to leave just a haze..
