Geez what does it take to get some proper sunshine, it was overcast all morning then the sun showed some glimpses but it has now gone dark again ;)

Don't come to warwickshire if you want to sunbath or take photos of blue skies, all we get is grey overcast muck roll on summer.

No rain at all since friday evenings moderate showers, this is really a poor spell of weather for here for sunny weather fans and thunderstorm fans.

come down here its boiling 28 humid as hell and its going to get hotter !!!!!

Good sunny spells here since late this morning, feeling hot and humid, current temperature 25.6c. Towering cumulus all around, possibly some cb, so maybe a storm later.

A very pleasant end to the day temps peaking at 23.3C and now dropping slowly away. Overall making it a easy ending to the day for the carer.:) :)

Very little in the way of convection now just the odd cumulus around.

A very warm afternoon though rather cloudy to be honest with showers nearby though theyve steered clear so far, high of 23.6c earlier, now 23.0c and its feeling a bit less humid actually.

Pretty warm and dry here but has been rather cloudy all day. Haven't had any torrential downpours like I experienced in Oxford yesterday evening!

Was hoping for drought conditions - the grass scorched brown and inch-wide cracks in the ground :D

It's not far off that here after no rain in weeks. This evening is sunny and very warm

with a current temp of 21c

Blimey, it's like a flash flood :D

Any thunder? I've been watching it on radar and i can see the huge black cloud to my south.

22c here and clouding over.

After an overcast and foggy start it gradually burnt off giving a partly cloudy afternoon. As the sun came out the temperatures responded appropriately, reaching a maximum of 24.0C - the warmest day of the year so far. Unfortunately at the same time the dewpoint was 18.3C, so it has been rather sticky.

Unless we have some serious rain in the next couple of days, June will be exceptionally dry. So far we've had a mere 12.7mm, just 25% of average. Looking at the yellow grass and dustbowl conditions reminds me of June 2006 (12.2mm).

Another day of north sea dross.!! and today's is the most dense yet with visibility down to 20-50 yards

in places, temps are down-right upsetting at 15.8°C and a 3mph ENE wind gusting to 6mph.

Certain members on here should spare a thought when complaining about storms missing them or no snow here

posts when most of the country are basking in beautiful sunshine the coastal fringes of the north east are shrouded

in the most uninspiring weather imaginable......think im gonna :D .......

We'll send some of our rain 120 mm so far but mostly in large amounts. so plenty of days with not a lot too measure. Just to rub it in grass to wet too sit on here this afternoon.

no i think this cloud will be gone by around 5am as its moving about 5 miles every 15minutes and even when it is there are still some spots of sunshine breaking through it.
