Have a rather intense heavy shower moving through here with torrential rain, pea size hail mixed in and gusty winds, no thunder heard yet though.

Has it died down, Lewis? Now watching and all I'm hearing is wind, though the clouds look good!

Just as it clears, one big rumble and a more quiter one soon after. Feels alot more humid today than yesterday and with lighter winds.

Just had another shower, this one far heavier than the previous, almost torrential.

Hoping for something a bit heavier and electrical later...fingers crossed.

That REALLY gets on my t*ts - everytime I am at work, the thunder is at/near home (yesterday and now today, plus back in June). When I am at home, London gets smacked....makes you question science and whether or not there really are supreme beings bullying different people, lol

They have lost intensity somewhat in the past 10 mins :o ... I dunno what it could be, possibly the N sea.

Wasn't electrical when it passed here, ooohhh, 10 mins ago!!

There is a line of seemingly more intense showers just towards W London now, hopefully (he prays!) will come over here and provide some thunder and lightning!

yep knowing our luck, although this morning i did say i had a feeling everything will develop south of us, with parts of lincs, EA & the SE seeing the bulk of storms.

Its only 1PM, CAPE and LI looking fine right until 7-8pm tonight so fingers crossed.

Only thing that bothers me is the fact that North of us is a clear window with nothing really developing.

:o Don't worry Harry, I reckon there will be more to come this afternoon for London & Kent. The days not over yet, and there are plenty of beefy showers out there in this neck of the woods
