Just uploaded a short video clip onto youtube of the heavy shower that just passed over, producing some thunder after is passed.

Hi, Also based near Redhill (Tadworth, 5 miles away) and have just had a storm pass over us. Torrential rain, lightning and VERY loud thunder for 15mins. it has now moved away:-(, but lets hope its not the last of the day

Thundery activity may be lacking but the 24 hours from 07.00 yesterday to 07.00 today was the wettest such period here since 12-13 December 2008! A series of downpours yesterday evening was followed by more in the small hours boosting the 24 hour total to 30mm!

3 very heavy downpours here so far, verging on torrential, in Leeds center on the second shower the rroads were like river at each side with water pouring donw the side of each road.

B) Damn Missus has said there is Thunder & lightening in Rayleigh and very heavy rain.

Why oh why do I have to be at work in Thurrock at this time...all we have is heavy rain :):D:)

Well that was rather pleasant :) , 5-6 flashes lightning with 2 overhead, v.loud. Nice way to leave the 'No Storms Club' :) and very handy considering I wasn't going to take today as holiday until this morning :D

thought my camera was recording the wall on that little beasty but I'd forgotten to start it, nevermind B)
